In 2000 is Barbara afgestudeerd aan de Hogeschool van de Kunsten te Utrecht in de richting modevormgeving. Zij kent het hele proces van conceptontwikkeling, stof- en kleurkeuze, kan technisch tekenen en is verantwoordelijk geweest voor het ontwikkelen en uitwerken van divers promotiemateriaal.

Als zelfstandig ontwerper van Artwork en Dessins is haar werkwijze autonoom en grafisch. Anderen omschrijven haar als een toegankelijk persoon die goed kan luisteren en samenvatten. Haar analytische vermogen geeft de ruimte om goed te kijken wat de wensen van de klant zijn.

Klanten die dessins van haar in de collectie hebben opgenomen zijn uiteenlopende bedrijven over de hele wereld o.a. Tatiana Design en Muurbloem in Nederland, JC Penny’s in Amerika, Carrefour in Frankrijk, Decatex in België. Maar ook in Griekenland, Mexico, Australië en Japan worden haar dekbedovertrek ontwerpen verkocht.

Daarnaast heeft zij in eigen beheer handmatig stoffen bedrukt en daar in samenwerking met Daphne de Vos een exclusieve handgemaakte tassen collectie van gemaakt. Te koop via Peluche.nl

In 2000, Barbara graduated from the College of the Arts in Utrecht in the direction of fashiondesign. She knows the whole process of concept development, fabric and color choice, can make technical drawings and developing and designing various promotional materials.

As an independent designer of Artwork and Designs is her method autonomously and graphic. Others describe her as an accessible person who can listen and summarize. Her analytical ability gives the space to look carefully what the needs of the customer are.
